Hey, This is about me

I'm Sashini, and I'm a super passionate full stack engineer. I got into the software engineering world during my school days when I took up ICT as one of my subjects. HTML and CSS were some of the first things that sparked my interest in this field and have been my favourites since then.

I've had the opportunity to work at some of the leading IT companies in Sri Lanka, such as WSO2 and 99X. Currently, I'm working as a senior full stack engineer at a Dubai-based startup called Spades Tech Ltd. My focus here is to make Spades' payment process as easy and quick as possible for its users and make the admin reports and payouts 10X more efficient than before.

Recently, I've been working with a lot of exciting technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js , and MongoDB.

But, when I'm not at work, I love cooking for my family and friends. Cooking is not only therapeutic for me, but also an excellent way to help others.

I've written a few blog articles to make life easier for other developers, and I've even done three podcast sessions on GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to help educate others.

I'm excited to do more of this in the future, so stay tuned!

Spade Tech Ltd - Senior Full Stack Engineer (2022.06.01 - Today)

- Working on developing Spades scan and pay application with Next.js and Node.js
- Developed new way of generating Spades reports with Azure Function app to help Spades financing team
- Developed Spades payout module in 10X efficient way to help Spades finance team

- Developed an on-premise chatbot for searching WSO2 documentation, including the user login interface with authentication and web user interfaces chat page that adhered to GDPR requirements.
